Fleni is a pavement system conceived as a rough ground that expands a sidewalk laterally into the open space at the entrance of a hospital. Its repetitive yet centralized organization varies the formal attributes of a block of stone (height, depth, length, rhythm, breaks, curvature), to provide furniture and turn the building setback into an open-air waiting area.
