Laboratorio investigates indeterministic yet systematic design procedures to construct (houses and housing) projects through techniques of estrangement and assemblage, by means of cutting and pasting historical (canonical) architectural materials. Their parts, neither arbitrarily alienated nor entirely cherished, are turned into the perplexing pieces of novel configurations.
